Football takes place during the cooler morning and late-afternoon periods. Elite chess training, supervised lunch and indoor activities take place during the warmer part of the day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can my child attend only one programme?
Yes. Parents may book Morning Football, Elite Chess or Afternoon Football separately.
Can my child attend the full day?
Yes. The Complete Elite Saturday Academy runs from registration at 7:45 am until collection at 6:00 pm.
Are football groups separated by age?
Yes. Football is organised into Under-11 and Over-11 groups. Ability may also be considered.
Does my child need previous chess experience?
No. The academy provides foundation, developing, advanced and elite training groups.
Does my child need previous football experience?
No. Students will be grouped appropriately according to age, experience and development needs.
Is lunch included?
Students attending the full day should bring an approved packed lunch. Water, fruit and healthy refreshments are provided.
Where do I collect my child?
Collection will take place from the Island Academy Football Field or Island Academy Reception Area. Parents will receive confirmation of the exact location.
What happens during very hot or unsafe weather?
Football may be shortened, rescheduled or replaced with supervised indoor training, tactical education or additional chess activities.
Are spaces limited?
Yes. Group sizes are deliberately limited to maintain a premium coaching experience.
